The Company

The Company

An 80-year-long history

Trasmeccanica SpA was founded on March 4, 1946, with a mission and spirit that have guided its strategies and actions ever since: to provide high-level technical components and services to the power transmission market.

Quality has always been the guiding principle behind our business decisions.
The undeniable reputation of our international partners and the durability of our relationships with these companies are the best proof of what we claim:

- Distributors of GATES belts for over 70 years.
- Distributors of Twiflex and Eaton industrial brakes and clutches for over 60 years.
- Distributors of Van Der Graaf motorized drums for over 50 years.
- Distributors of Jib supports.

Over the years, in a time of profound changes in the industrial production world, it has become increasingly evident in our domestic market the drive to pursue excellence in mechanical development. Within this context, our desire to strengthen the offer of high-end components with international visibility has grown stronger.
Our customers rely on the technical expertise of the heads of our divisions, sharing with them the phases of design, fine-tuning, and commissioning of their plants.

Customer Service

Trasmeccanica SpA, through its always well-stocked warehouses, offers customers a wide range of components and spare parts available for immediate delivery. Additionally, thanks to its equipment and collaboration with various local mechanical workshops, it is able to meet every customization requirement.
All of our partners provide product certificates in compliance with current European safety standards, and upon request, also specific test certificates according to international standards.

We work daily with companies from the most diverse sectors and of all sizes: from large steel plants to the most sophisticated automation in textile production and robotics; from the thrills of modern amusement parks to the high-tech equipment on America’s Cup boats; from the indestructible drilling rigs to the spectacular towers of wind turbine generators.

This is our way of doing mechanical engineering.
